    More Money than Brains Club!

Does your 70b2 have 800+ hp and run the front stright at Willow Springs at 160+ mph, because then I would say yes, it needs the wing.

    More Money than Brains Club!

Nope. The car shown above was totally cut down the middle and widened 5 inches to fit over a '03 Trans-Am chassie. Basicaly a modern Trans-Am hiden under a classic mustang body.

    Spindels ?????

Can anybody post some pics or direct me to an article on the difference between a '66 spindle and a '70 spindle. I bought some '70 spindles to put on my '66 but I don't think that's what I got. I can't compare because im converting it from Drum brakes. I know the '70 spindles are larger, but I...

Help can't get my car down!!! - Craftsman Floorjack repair

Not True  All "Hand Tools" have the warrenty. You have to read the fine print. Any tool that has moving parts is not covered (although the ratchets are covered). Like my Torque wrench that I tried to take back. See, even Craftsmen uses deceptive advertising. :bs:

    Subframe Connectors

Does anyone here have and use the "Grab-A-Trak" subframe connectors on a 66 Fastback? If so, are they eazy to install or is there a better brand out there?

    Spindels??

I was at the Historic Races this weekend at California Speedway and talked to a crew member on a Shelby GT350 about the front spindels on the car. He said I could use the brum brake spindels that were on the car with disk roters if I wanted to. Its this correct? All I need to do is get it...

    Which Rack & Pinion????

This poll mentions TCP and Flaming River. What other brands are out their for a 66? Flaming River doesn't make one for the 66 unless you have a Mustang II front setup. Im in the process of swaping mine out so any passed on experience would be helpfull.

    Lowering A Arms

Success!! It's amazing what you can accomplish with the right tools. Hack- I did just that. I had a buddy make me some templates in his shop. 1/8" steel plates. Drilling the holes with a unibit helped as well. I can't say the experience was all bad. I learned how to mig weld in the...

problems with valvetrain, do i have to pull the head?

I've always gone by a simple rule when it comes to motors. A little bit extra $$ now might save you $$$$$$$$$$$$ later. Even the thought of droping a valve scares me enough to have it fixed. I always good at spending other peoples money :D

Anyone have a step by step for removing fenders for 66

As you can see by my Avatar, I have do this. Leave in the bolts that run along the top under the hood. There are a few bolts behind the headlights if I remember correctly. There is a hidden one behind the kick panels on each side. Oh yea, and some along the bottom. Remove the bolts along the top...

    Lowering A Arms

I can get them done for pennies in about that time. Its just a 6 to 8 weeks for shipping. As for the paper template, wouldn't just moving it around to make it fit not give an exeact location of the new holes? Or am I not understanding?

    Lowering A Arms

Not as easy as it sounds, at least for me. Using a downloaded copy of the template I lined up the holes, center punched the new locations and drilled the new pilot holes checking with the template after every step. Not until I drilled the pilot holes did I screw it up. After they were drilled, I...
