    You sure you weren't using FRAM filters ?? I had valve train noise on startup when I made the mistake of using a fram filter. NEVER again.

    I have the same on my 03. Not really noticeable at 60mph, but there at 80mph for sure. The rear view mirror starts to vibrate. Now I have to convince the dealer he has to replace the driveshaft.

    First mod is to get rid of the worthless POS shifter that Ford puts in. I can't believe that in a car like th ecobra they still use this crap. Get a Tri-ax, and add a gasket to cut down on the noise coming into the cabin.

    Klasse all in one (synthetic) beats this stuff hands down. Add Klasse sealant glaze and you have a real winner. forget meguirs and ntx, they're new to the synthetic waxes. Klasse has been around for years.

    Yeah, they are pretty noisy. I have the same thing. Got a tri-ax plus the mgw handle but it's still pretty noisy at low speeds. I ordered one of those gaskets. Still need to install it, it's too hot to work on the car now.

    Delayed return to slow idle...IS this normal?

    It's to cut down on emissions. When you let go of the throttle it creates a vacuum. This vacuum pulls any fuel residue off the intake walls into the engine, causing a (short) increase in emissions. By closing the throttle slowly (computer does this) this won't happen.

    How long has it been doing it ? I would run either more seafoam or some synthetic oil and see how it sounds in a couple 1000 miles. Might want to have the oil-pressure measured.
