    Leaky header make this sound??

    hahh my car just started making a noise like that today. I got under the car and notice that the hpipe was rubbing the underbody of the car. Than i noticed my left side dump was hiting the axel. Yours sound to me like a bad header leak, or something terribly wrong with your rear end.

    check your plug wires, they might be rubbing against the headers cuasing them to melt, and smell....terrible. Also check other lines if thats not it, good chance its some sort of line or wire getting the coating burnt up a little. You guys are killing me with these 03's. I am going to get one...

    you may have that drivers side head problem. I think there was a recall on that. Check your oil cap for a beig color goo on the bottom. Also check your oil-is it the right color???

    thanks for the reply, only thing is that i dont have any cats. I have an hpeipe w/ stock mids, mufflers than some bent pipes( turndowns). They come really close to some black bard crossing the back. I am wondering if they are hitting that when i punch it, or could it be some kind of mechanical...

    SVT Focus

    My buddy has one. He put short throw, exhaust (headers,catback) and pully, chip, and dyno/tune and that thing is pretty quick. Oh and of course the infamous CAI BTW-that grey color they have looks the best...w/ some powdercoat rims...maybe? ....ok thats just me.

    i have Bosch 42lb injectors and a 255 fuel pump. I was told pre det could be ignition, timing, or fuel system problems, but its all brand new and i cant believe that it would go faulty so quick. The machanic is turning up the timing to 23 degrees to be safe, do you think im ok in boost mode or...
