NOS gurus, which kit to buy?

As long as you are careful and get it jetted right you'll be cool. I am using the Nitrous Express Hitman kit. Awesome quality! Went together really easy. Pretty inexpensive starter kit, however where they get you is with the add-ons, bottle warmer, remote bottle opener etc. Good luck!

    Paint/Bodywork Question

I would rather do a skin if possible just because of the custom interior paint. I really don't have the money to rip everything out have the paint redone and put it all back.

    Paint/Bodywork Question

The interior is perfect. Everything is perfect, with the exception of one small rip in the vinyl on the drivers seat. Perfect carpet, perfect headliner etc. The door shell is the only piece that is ****ed up. Who sells the door shell? I have only seen the 65 - 66 door shells. If I can...

    Paint/Bodywork Question

The only problem is I have custom paint in the car. A 84 Corvette Metallic Grey and I would have to repaint in the interior. That is my dilema, fix the door, and not be straight, or replace the door and paint the interior.

What do you guys recommend I do with this rust?

Man o man, I would get some finer sandpaper to start off with, and than also go pick up some Naval Jelly, which will take off the rust immediately. Then I would wet sand it with some 200 or 300 grit sand paper down to bare metal, prime it, seal it, and get it painted. Rust and metal is not...

    Paint/Bodywork Question

I don't think it is that bad, but it is right on the curve for the door, which would be hard to replicate and bring back to looking clean and straight. I would have posted them straight up however I don't have a server to drop them on. The first server I had them posted on doesn't support...

    Paint/Bodywork Question

Ok, well I am at a crossroads here, do I have the original door damage repaired or do I just replace the door. I have a door, but I don't really feel like transferring all the internals to the new door, and I would have to paint match the interior door paint which is a custom color, so it...

What kind of exhaust do yall have??

I am running Hooker Super Comps, to 3" Series 40 Flowmasters, and I have not finished extending the piping yet, not sure if I want out to the sides or all the way to the back. The car is fairly loud at idle, and does nothing but get louder the more I step on the gas, I can set off car alarms as...

    JEEP GUYS HELP!!!!

Well now see, I didn't know it was a TBI. That does make a big difference, because that means there is a computer, and many many wires involved in the diagnosis of the jeep. After check basic stuff, like do you have spark, is there incoming fuel, etc. It gets a lot more complicated from...

    JEEP GUYS HELP!!!!

Sounds like either a TPS problem, which is unlikely at idle or it is a dirty carb problem. Check the fuel filter and air filters before attempting this following checks. You should have a carter one barrel or two barrel carb on your jeep. Am I correct? If so the 1 barrel has 7 screws...

    Carburetor rebuilding tips...

Usually means that your accelerator pump is plugged up, and you aren't getting that extra shot of gas to get you over the hump so to speak.

    Carburetor rebuilding tips...

I rebuild those carbs on a daily basis, IF you have access to a bead blaster, bead the blast the damn thing. It'll clean off 99% of the crap on the carb. CLEAN IT WELL, blow it out with compressed air, make sure ALL of the passageways are perfectly clear. If you don't have access to a bead...

    Food for Thought

Since my second car I have never done anything half ass, if I build suspension it is all the way, power, it is all the way. I have never had a car slower than high 13 seconds, I own a sportbike etc etc. If the car is NOT quick enough to get out of it's own way and then some, than it is not...

    Automatic Transmissions?

I have heard about that, how well does the Gear Venders OD work? My parts list isn't that impressive, it runs only sometimes at 500+ HP if you know what I mean. ;) Just that little red button there on the shifter. :D

    Automatic Transmissions?

Well I already have a C4 in the car, however I do some fairly long distance traveling and the car sounds so damn stressed as it stands with the rear gears @ 2.79. If I dropped in the 9" with the 3.55s I don't think the car would be happy with rolling for 200 miles @ 70 MPH @ 3400 RPM. If...
