300 RWHP with stock heads and cam

Yes the street heat kit. I was just comparing an aftermarket kit, which changes 3 major components to make 300 vs keeping it mostly stock and making 300. I think all the stuff you would have to do to a mostly stock engine to make 300rwhp would be much more expensive (unless your a machinist or...

300 RWHP with stock heads and cam

IMHO the parts you listed will get ya in the 240whp range. I agree w/ Dman your going to have to change more than that to get 300rwhp. Most ppl w/ the trickflow top end kit on a 302 are making 290-300rwhp. 50 or 60whp is not easy to come by without major changes or nitrous.

    BBK SSI,AFR 165, koeo #96, Koer #12 + 13, + Sluggish

The whistle is probably from the bbk throttle body. I have one and it whistles loudly between 900 and 1200 rpms. As long as your checking things out you might as well readjust the valves to eliminate that.

    GT40P 347 Junkyard Setup

My last combo was a 347 w/ gt40p heads, cobra intake, and crane 2031 cam. I put down 265rwhp and 340rwtq through an auto. The combo was done by about 5800rpm. I have since switched to TW heads, track heat, and custom cam, it pulls WAY harder from 3k on up, no dyno #'s on new combo but it sure...

gt40p spec headers on tfs heads???

I am switching from the p heads to tw and was wondering if the headers for the p heads will work with the tw? As far as I know the primaries are a little longer on the p spec headers where they come out of the head, is that the only diff? Thanks for any info

    Lentech Automatic

As long as your paying for it they'll send you what ever you want, they ask you a bunch of q's about your combo : gear ratio, weight, etc. and they will try to steer you in the right direction w/ a converter matched to your combo. They have a website check it out. www.lentechautomatics.com

    Lentech Automatic

I have had the Street terminator for about 3 years, it has been the best AOD I have ever owned. I had previously gone through 3 rebuilt AOD transmissions in a 3 year period. The Lentech comes w/ a converter matched to your combo, and all the good stuff they do to make them last. Also the valve...

dum question but im not shure lifter valley

If you didn't lay down at least a 1/4" bead of silicone sealer at the front and the back of the block you most definetly will have a problem.

A breaker bar or try putting a length of pipe on the rachet you have now. Spray lots of wd-40 on it too. Good luck

What brake Upgrades did you do? (for Hemmings Mustang Magazine)

'88 GT SS braided brake lines Powerstop drilled rotors up front, stock drums in rear Hawk street+ pads front and back Made a HUGE difference from stock. Way less brake fade when its hot and shorter stopping distance.
