    Newb Question::: Air Intake

    That explains why my Straight Shot came with a little plastic plug that I couldn't figure out what to do with. My 01 HAS the sensor, so I didn't need to plug it. I thought I did something wrong cause I had leftover parts.

    I didn't cut mine, but it did take alot of muscle to get it in place. I also left that screen out because it just wouldn't go together with it on. But it looks really good under the hood, and I definitely noticed a boost on the ole butt dyno!

    They had the stud. It was a $2 part and $32.50 labor. I'm sure I could have gotten it done cheaper, but I live right down the street from the biggest tire and wheel shop around. I did see some nice wheels for sale though! I really hate the wheels that the previous owner put on, mainly...

    Well, ran it down to local tire shop. $36.00 with tax, but it's done now so I guess it was worth it.

    Why does my interior get so hot?

    When I installed my new shifter, I got the old one almost off when I realized I didn't have anything to seal the new one on. So I bolted the old handle back on and drove to the parts store. There was incredible heat coming up through the hole, so I would say if you didn't bolt the boot back...

    Last night I noticed my left front wheel was missing a lug nut and on further inspection I found that the stud is broken off. My question is can I hammer out the broken stud and replace just the one, or do I have to buy the whole new assembly? BTW, its an 01 GT. Any help will be appreciated...

    MAC STRAGHT SHOT? 25RWHP?

    It uses a MAC filter. Not sure if K&N makes a filter that will clamp on using a hose clamp like the one on my straight shot does. :shrug:

    I think I read somewhere on here that these newer stangs with ABS have to be bled by the dealer. Not sure why that would be, but I'm pretty sure that's what I've read here.
