Yep, that works. I would, however, use an old or spare lug for doing this. You will be stretching the heck out of the threads on the lug. Lug nuts are made of softer steel than the studs.

Do you want to go fast in a straight line or do you want to be able to fly around corners? You can't have it both ways. If you want to launch hard, you have to do some chassis and suspension mods. You also need sticky rear tires. Going fast aint cheap! :)

Don't do it. Wait until you get the heads. You may not gain much other than a nice sounding, lopey idle. The stock heads don't flow well over 5K. This cam makes power well above that. How much gear do you have? If you don't have 4.10's or more, you will be burning a lot of gas for little...

I used to wrench at a Ford dealer. From what I saw, these are not very durable, plus they are designed for 3.8 liters of motor. Do yourself a favor and pass on this blower. Just my 2 cents.

If you plan on racing it at the track with sticky tires, get a TA girdle and some aftermarket axles. As far as the diff goes, this is debated much. I'm not going to change my rebuilt stock diff until I have traction issues. No need to get a 9-inch unless you plan on running sub-10 second...

I respectfully disagree. Assuming he goes for a more agressive cam, he will need more gear. You can't make just one mod and expect to get good ET's. You get proper chassis mods, suspension mods, and good tires. Then he will have no traction problems if he adds more power. 4.10's. :nice:
