    quad city area stangers?

    I'm from Muscatine. I know a bunch of people that go up every year. There is no actual clubs down here that I know of, but they usually travel in groups.

    gears & gas mileage..............

    I use 89 because it is cheaper and I have never had any problems. The only difference between it and 87 is ethanol.

    I run about 2200 in 5th at 70. I had an idea it was somewhere along those lines. I don't know if I want to tear into that car yet, I have enough junk cars as it is. Well anyway, thanks for all of your input.

    How do you find out what gears you have in your rearend? I have a 2001 yellow GT, stock except for a K&N and a 5-speed.

    Which Oil is the King of the Hill?

    Oil I use Mobil 1 or FoMoCo synthetic and I havent had any problems.
