    3 Valve exhaust vs. 2 Valve exhaust....Help

Thanks for all the input guys...the way it sounds now with the o/r H and the flows is good, just not the same. I can learn to live with that. However today I was messing around with the H pipe because of a small exhaust leak and decided to see what she would sound like wide open straight out of...

    3 Valve exhaust vs. 2 Valve exhaust....Help

Okay, this is my first post concerning my 05 GT. Long story short, I had an 04 GT with a Mac o/r H pipe and 2 chamber Flowmaster 40 series mufflers and it sounded absolutly WONDERFUL. So having run this setup previously, I figured it would sound just as good if not better on my 05, not the case...

    Schrader valve???

I'm not trying to tap the fuel rail. My kit is the NOS 5116 Dry Kit, and it comes with a Fuel Pressure Safety Switch that installs in place of the schrader valve on the fuel rail. I have access to a mechanic at work and had him look for it today, he couldn't find a schrader valve and wound up...

Does anyone know where the schrader valve is on a 2004 GT. I'm trying to install a nos dry system, and I cant find it anywhere. It's supposed to be somewhere on the fuel rail. I dont see it. Please help.

    Too Loud??

Thanks for the info, I figured it wouldn't sound right and would just be way way to loud. Would the Prochamber make it sound more aggresive than the stock mid pipe? I want to be loud and want to be heard while staying "classy" at the same time.

    Too Loud??

Just got 1 chamber flows. They sound great, but now I'm very very tempted to get an o/r H pipe. Will this just be insanely loud, and will I be getting pulled over all the time? ANy info would be great.

    4.10's or exhaust, which one?

Got my 4.10s installed yesterday, it's like a night and day difference!! I would go gears, however exhaust is also a great idea.

    4.10's installed!!!!!!!!

Haven't hit 90 yet, got arrested last week. Trying to play it safe for now, speed limit here on the freeway is between 60 and 65 depending on where you are. I do think @ 90 I would be right at 3000 or just a notch above.

    4.10's installed!!!!!!!!

Thanks, I thought I had seen a previous post you had made, mentioning the 3000 RPM at 90 MPH. That is one reason I actually went ahead and went with the 4.10s instead of 3.73s. So while driving tonight hitting just under 2700 @ 80 didn't seem bad at all. Whatever. Your reassurance...

What tranny comes stock on the 99GT?

I'm pretty new at all this mod stuff but I have an 04 GT and installed the tri-ax in 20 minutes on my stock tranny. I "think" you have a T-45 tranny, I could be wrong so don't hold me to that, but regardless I'm almost certain that the tri-ax will work on your stock tranny. I love my tri-ax it...

    New Member: Mod Questions

I agree completly, the tri-ax is great, and very simple to install. As for cai, like 95cobrastang said the K&N FIPK gen 2 has seen some nice gains, as with the straight shot. I've also heard that densecharger has some good kits as well. I would stay away from the chrome though. Chrome=hot! I...

    4.10's installed!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the info, I"m headed up to Dallas Mustang tomorrow for an o/r H so I'll have them take a look just to be safe. I do appreciate the info. Off topic here, are you the one with the video of your idle and cams? If so man those sound AWESOME, I think I"m going to throw in some comp 268h's...

    4.10's installed!!!!!!!!

Hey, thanks for that link!! It looks like the speed-cal may not have worked just right. I should be a little closer to 2900 than 2700 from what the calculator states. I'll look into it tomorrow and let everyone know what the outcome was. I really wasn't trying to throw any BS out, that's just...

    4.10's installed!!!!!!!!

No, I was referred to a guy by a sales associate at Dallas Mustang, he did it at his house, and I had my car back in less than two hours. Let me know if you need some more info.

    4.10's installed!!!!!!!!

Okay so I just did some more freeway driving, and I"m not trying to wave the BS flag as you mentioned before, however I"m right under 2700 @ 80mph, sorry if you don't agree but thats what I got.

    4.10's installed!!!!!!!!

Just got back from picking up my car after the gear swap. Holy F'ING hell!! Everyone needs 4.10's! The car really feels like it shed some serious weight. Searching through all the gear posts led me to go the 4.10 route instead of the 3.73, and now I feel confident to pass along the info to...

    Catted H question...?

Can anyone tell me what kind of sound difference to expect with a high flow catted H pipe on my o4 GT? I know a lot depends on cat back selection and so forth, I've got flowmaster single chambers on right now and they sound pretty aggresive as is. Will the H give me an even more aggresive...
