cats are too restrictive **** 'em go o/r you'll make more power and that's what counts. not to mention the catted mid pipes are more expensive than the o/r ones. You'll probably have to do it yourself 'cause some muffler shops won't touch that stuff cause it's illegal.

i have 2 chamber flows but am considering 1 chambers. I use an o/r H pipe but I think if I was just going for bleeding ear drum loud sound I would go with LT headers straight to a shorty o/r H with dumped magnaflows. I think that would be pretty loud.

did you break them in first? I just got done letting mine get seated or whatever properly by driving the car decent for about 1000 miles. Now i'm gonna drain the rearend oil and put new stuff in. It killed me to drive nice but i was told by my dad's good friend and a mechanic/drag racer that...

okay gears i think are broke in a little now. What gear oil should i use now. I want to drain and check for anything amiss in the rearend. I don't have a warranty or anything so the best i can get will have to do. What do you guys use/your opinions on that kind. thanks.

got my predator off of ebay for $325 + $10 shipping off of ebay. I've heard the diablo chips suck so i got this. much more tweaking that I can do with this.

I use synthetic cause i drive the car pretty hard and i even wait for about 5k miles to go before i change the oil and filter. EDIT: with mobil 1 oil & filters

4.10's..................get them. You will be sorry if you go less. It's puts you in the power band better when shifting plus there's no downshifting on the highway anymore if you have to get around someone fast. City driving is fine and highway driving is fine too. I lose MAYBE 2mpg but...

put some flowmaster 1 chamber (10 series) mufflers in there that will make it louder.

If I had the money I would go with a set of BBK LT's to shorty X w/modularfordpowerhouse custom grind cams done by the man himself and a tune from him. However I do not possess the money.....yet.

I have the exact same car as you and yes it made a difference you can feel where your ass meets the seat. A good part about it is WHEN (not if) you get gears, new wheels/tires, you can calibrate your speedo with it. There's a lot of play with the electronics you can do with it. I got mine on...

the best advice i can give with my experience of buying aftermarket stuff is "you get what you pay for" I learned the hard way.......eventually.
