    I went with an h pipe, but i havent really heard an x in person. I have read that the h keeps a deeper tone than the x but that the x may be better as far as performance goes.

The problem with doing it myself is the pipe is 2.5 inches and the rest of the exhaust is 2.25. I am not sure how I would be connecting the back end of the pipe into the smaller catback portion...
