    Boy, do I know that one!! 2 weeks before the Mustang 30th Annv. when I had a 78 with a 302 the oil pump seized. I did not have a chance to fix Her so I had to drive my Toyota at the time. I have been using my 88 for a daily driver for 2 years, no ploblems. Maybe I will get this 76 for everyonce...

    Gas tank makes banging noise!!!

    Ah! Broken baffles. Sounds like fun. So I got to change the tank. I think I'll be safe and change the pickup and pump as well. Thanks guys! :hail2:

    Just came from under the Stang. The banging is coming directly from inside the tank. Tailpipes fine. Everything is tight. Nothing is hitting the tank itself. Stang runs fine. Inlet tube is tight. Nothing is loose. :bang:

    heater core replacement

    I just replaced my heater core without discharging the AC. Go to mustanggt.org click links then tech. It took 8 hours but only cost me $42 for the core. I removed the console, dash, gauges (disconnet speedo cable first from trans) take off the brakect for the AC evaporator to get to the nuts...
