This is an interesting discussion because since Jan (04) the V-6s have been 3.9 L engines! I have heard that a new head gasket has boosted the size by 100ml. We had an interesting go round here at work since some of the boys were listing the engine size as 3.9, and I suggested they were wrong...

Check all the hoses in the engine compartment. I was checking a Windstar a while back and heard a whistle like noise form the engine, the check engine light was on, and it idled like crap. Turns out there was a hose off and when I put it back the noise stopped and the idle smoothed out. If you...

Nothing wrong with those new F-150s... ....but you should put a dual exhaust system on it! Had a couple thru work here with duals and do they sound sweet! :D

The check engine lite could be something to do the the EGR system. I had mine lite come on a while ago and that is what my mechanic said, and pointed out the box under the hood and said if it comes on again just replace the box, fairly inexpensive fix. You should get a mechanic you know to read...

Back to the big wings.... ....on FWD cars????? If the wing is effective will it not reduce their traction because it should push the rear end down???? OK on a 'Stang or other RWD car that gets more weight onto the driving wheels, so shouldn't the FWD guys puts those honking big wings on their...

Not sure about 275's, but... ...I just put 17's on my 6 with 245/45's and so far no problem. Try going to the tire store sites and find one with a tire size calculater so you can input you current size and then the ones you are going to use to see what sort of a size difference there is. HTH

Member of the Exec no less. Performance Red Coupe. I was wondering if a Micrsoft product would copy well, I'm sure most folks in the area know where Embrun is, if not, get on 417 East, off at Vars, right at the end of the ramp and into Embrun (10 mins).
