Normally I don't bother...it's only when their owners have the attitude that their car can walk on a Cobra that I see the need to re-educate them.:D Of course, they don't get really raced....granny shifted, easy takeoff, etc...:)

Yes the 2003 Cobra heads flow better. The big difference is the recamming of the engine to provide much improved torque at low RPMs. I'd say 300ish HP without the Eaton...my $0.02:)

The Boss 429 engine with it's hemi heads, is incredibly rare. They can be found, but often Boss 429 engine parts go for a hefty premium, due to their rarity. Ford likely had the engine used in storage from back then (and likely has a few more). Not for sale though. A pseudo-Boss engine...

I haven't raced an STi yet...haven't even seen one yet for that matter. I did race one silver WRX in the rain though..I was being REALLY gentle on my car (just staying in front of him), and I still beat on him with ease.

I'd say it's possible, with say, a Cobra R hood. I can't wait until SVT makes Ford GT parts available in the FRPP catalogue....especially crate motors. They'll sell like hotcakes...:)

Just want to introduce myself and my other half:) Picked her up at the beginning of May, already modifed by the dealer with the Magnaflow exhaust system. Quite a difference from my previous Mustangs, a 2003 GT and a 1989 LX 5.0.:D
