    cleaning my a/c compressor

Hmmm... somewhere, I've seen a chrome, bolt-on shroud for the AC compressor. If it wasn't March then I can't recall who it was that made the thing.

    The Stang is COMPLETE (pics)

Looks good. Blue wire looms don't bother me one bit. It's clean looking and uniform. If you're going with a color... why not blue??

    Statement about new Camaro

Wow... I didn't read this whole thread but got the gist from the first page. Personally, I coudn't care less what stock automobile can beat what other stock automobile fresh off the show-room floor with Racer-X behind the wheel. Rather... I like pulling up next to that shiny new Challenger...

Who had that thread about stuffing the e-fan inside the stock fan shroud??

Unless the brushes in the MK VIII fan are designed to be unidirectional (I don't know if they are or not) then running the fan backwards will make for a very short life-span on the fan. Something maybe worth looking into.

    Decide what blower

Yes, you'll be able to run elevated boost levels and timing with a cooler air discharge temp from the blower, REGARDLESS of how that cooler air is achieved. Either kit will (ATI or Vortec) will be more than capable of block splitting power levels. Some would disagree but I consider it to be...

    Decide what blower

Why would anyone PLAN to use water/meth on a Vortec kit they hadn't bought yet? Water/meth for a street Vortec setup is a band-aid. Kinda like, "Oh crap, I want more boost on my already installed kit but have no way to being down the discharge temps". Since you're in the planning stages, I'd...

    Pulley Calculator & More

I stumbled across this site while looking for an overdrive crank pulley. The link will take you to a pulley calculator which is pretty nice but when you scroll down towards the bottom of the screen, you'll see that there are links to a host of other calculators as well. One of them will even...

    Are You Gay? (self examination)

    1. If you are over forty, and you have a washboard stomach, you are gay. It means you haven't sucked back enough beer with the boys and have spent the rest of your free time doing sit-ups, aerobics, and doing the Oprah diet. 2. If you have a cat, you are a Flaaaaming homo. A cat is...

    high idle/no heat

C'mon folks! *Ding Ding Ding* No heat --AND-- High idle all at the same time??? You have a broken vac line running to the heater box. Check all the lines under the hood. They run up against the firewall on the passenger side. If you don't find anything there (you have to look very closely...

    when are stronger axles needed?

It depends on how much traction you get. In your case, I'd say they're needed when your current axle(s) break. The stock tranny followed by the stock (unreinforced) 8.8 rear are typically your weakest links.

    leaky stang :(

Heya Dark... My fail-safe fix for this is to seat the t-stat in the housing then hold it in place with two tiny dots of superglue. It beats the string method, hands down.

Quality difference between HD-dvd and HD movies thru digital cable

Above are FACTS. Everything (with the exception of the 720p line) could potentially change tomorrow but as of this posting, they are facts. Here are a couple more: The XBox does currently NOT offer a Blue-ray player. The PS3 does currently NOT offer an HD-DVD player. Each console maker has...

    Steeda Tri-Ax vs Pro 5.0

I bought my Tri-Ax BECAUSE of the Pro 5oh. The Pro was too "notchy" for me and I felt like had to fight to get into gear sometimes. I've talked to others that swear by them and complain about the Steeda though. lol For me... Tri-ax, all the way. 86 GT Super Duty T-5
