    Spark plug gap?

I recently set mine up with a .060 gap, and the car seems to like it. The idle is a bit smoother and throttle response seems a bit snappier....although that might just be the new plugs themselves...

Clutch cable about to die, good replacement?

FYI...that same OEM cable and clutch fork kit is only $35 @ Summit...

    small hesitation after plug change???

I'm not sure if this changed by years, but the stock gap on my '92 GT according to the sticker on the coil cover is .052 - .056. .058 is a bit over...but not too much. I just put in some new Autolite 140's in mine (GT40X heads) and I gapped them to .060, and it's been working awesome.

    C&L sample tube ?

The sample tubes that come pre-installed in a C&L are not colored. The only time they are colored is if you buy one sperately to install in one of their meters. If the person bought the meter calibrated for 24's, it would not be blue. If they bought one for 19's and replaced it with the...

I wasn't really planning on doing anything with the needles, and the all white looks good to me... *shrug*

    Reverse glow gauges.

Why do you have to do that exactly? I just used the switch..works fine for me. *shrug*

    Reverse glow gauges.

I just installed them in mine. I love em. No messing around with disconnecting the speedo cable, prying the faces apart, or taking off the needles. Day Night :)

How common is this? (FRPP Jet Hot Headers)

Really? I wonder if I could return them through Summit. I mean they are barely 6 months old and the coating is flaking off in large chunks??

How common is this? (FRPP Jet Hot Headers)

Thanks guys. No, the motor is not leaning out, and my headers are not getting super hot. It's probably the salt if anything...I drive my stang all year even in these New England winters. 90% of the headers still look great, it's just the flat area at the collector it looks like two big pieces...

How common is this? (FRPP Jet Hot Headers)

I just put these on maybe 6 months ago along with a Bassani OR X Pipe, and when I was under the hood the other day, I noticed the ceramic coating is already peeling off the collector end. The flat area around the collector the ceramic is all flaked off, but still on there, but I could pull of a...

Think my clutch cable is bad...how to replace?

No sweat man. The only reason I know is because I was just in a similar situation to the OP. Something I learned the hard way... The OEM cable is not long enough for a FWA and some aluminum quads with a long throw...the hook is too far forward. I had to put my BBK adjustable back in...

Think my clutch cable is bad...how to replace?

Agreed. I just put in a fiore and while it was a bit pricey, it's awesome. I really like the fact it has an internal collar that spins free so when you adjust the cable, you aren't twisting it and introducing tension...

Think my clutch cable is bad...how to replace?

Not really...I'm not using one now and it working fine. It's mainly there to keep the cable off the headers...

Think my clutch cable is bad...how to replace?

It is because it is the clutch fork and cable that was OEM from the factory in 87 and up models. The kit is meant to convert a pre - '87 car, which is why it is lists the older models...

    which hook?

If you are using a FWA, use the hook that is farther back, closer to the firewall. If you are just using their adjustable cable and no FWA, use the hook that is farthest away from the firewall. Oh, and I bought the FRPP double hook quad by itself and it came with directions...

Looking at a Griffin radiator... any imput would help

I haven't had time to get this stuff in the car yet, but I went with the Griffin and ramcharger fan. Here are some pics of it all mounted up...it seems like a nice unit. :)

Found cause of shifting problem *pics*

You may not need a cable right now, but pick up the OEM cable and fork kit from Summit for like $35. At worst you'll have a spare cable hanging around... :)
