Stall converter advice on C4 ??

helped me alot, thank you very much. I need to find a good tranny builder here intown to rebuld this C4. Neal Chance is just 20min. away, so I'm going to check them out for sure. I'm sure they can figure out a coverter that will fit my needs and combo. I'm just new to autos and stalls. Want...

Stall converter advice on C4 ??

I got my C4 last night from my bud at work..paid him $75 for it. I'm trying to figure out what stall to get as well. Probably will go w/ a Neal Chance, B&M, or Edge. Never had a stall b4, or an automatic Mustang for that matter. Something that's botherin me is...Let's say it's a 3000 stall...

    hood pins, howto? tips? tricks?

I wanted my pins where the bumpers were cause that where it looked the best as far pin location. I removed the both bumpers and installed pins in their place. I then made new spots to the outsides of the pins for the bumpes to go and installed them there. I put liquid paper or something like...

Where are your gauges power to?

LOL, I do that too I use the one fuse for the cluster lights that dims, my boost gauge dims too. It was quicker than getting into the dash to go straight to the switch. It'd be nice if there were connections in the fuse panel. I know on some older vehicles (like a 78 Chevy p/u I had) there...

    Door lock noises!..?

Try what you said, greasing up the screw shaft. They can get a little rusty because of their location. Pull the actuators, clean them up and lube them.

    Tuning a supercharger

My Novi1000 kit didn't come with a bypass valve. I picked up a Bosch 110 model and installed it at the same time. I've had no idle issues or surging, so make sure you have one. My idle is great. If you're running a chip, pull it out. The bigger fuel pump is a good idea, just in case...

ATTN: Those who have installed a B&M Hammer

Yeah, I saw that on Summitt. So you have a C4? Did you do a swap or what? I'm getting the C4 in the next few days and I'm going to have it built. Need to figure out the other stuff I'm going to need. Like if my starter will work, the crossmember, the tranny yolk, what flexplate to get.

Nice...glad to see this since I'll be going through it when I swap my T5 for the C4. That's the shifter I'm thinking hard about getting. Do those covers come with the shifter? What tranny are you running?

    Tuning a supercharger

That's such bull. CMan, you can do what I'm doing. Start out at 6#'s of boost with the stock injectors and FMU. Run you a good high flow 180* t-stat. Start the timing out a 6* and FP at 39psi. Run Autolite 23's , I left them how they came out of the box as far as gap, checked them all and .35...

    Everyone do yourself a favor

Crap, I withdraw my prior easy statement. I have a parts store Chilton manual, it sucks pretty bad too. So htere's somne type of pin on one side and a bolt on the other?

    Tuning a supercharger

How much boost will you be starting off with? I've got 19# injectors and running the 12.1 FMU, Kirban AFPR set at 39psi. Everything is working pretty good at 6#'s of boost. I'm running a 155lph fuel pump too, just for security.

ATTN: Those who have installed a B&M Hammer

I'd hit it with a grinder. There's so many tolerances that could be off or something else like that. If you have everything in good and tight and in the right spot then I'd shave down that corner on the shifter a little.
