    Still having vibration issues..

Driveshaft When the U-Joints are replaced it is possible that the balance is out. If you have another d/s try it. If you are working on the old d/s be sure the cups are in place(and the snap rings are seated). You can try adding weight(about the weight of 2 nickels) to the rear of the d/s. You...

    Measuring Pinion Angle

Driveline angles Please mention why you are doing this as pinion angles have not been a known problem on this car. This is how you do it: 1-Add weight to get the car at design height. 2-Measure pinion flange face. 3-Measure trans output shaft Compare to factory specs. The driveshaft is...

Trailer lights Your comment- IF you worked on the car, TELL ME how to hook up the lights. Since the customer is ALWAYS right, I will help you all I can. On the 2004 Mustang, the added load of another stop light would blow the fuse. This would require the addition of relays and a power source...

Towing question--- how to hook up lights to trailer

Towing w Mustang I towed my 2000 lb boat w my Mustang. I knew it would because I helped develop the car at Ford. You do have to use caution as an emergency stop will be seriously impaired. Getting up a slippery ramp is the only negative. I wish I could help w the wiring- the system is not...

    notchy 2nd gear??

Notchy feel Use of the triax shifter will reduce the time the synchronizer has to match the gears. That will roughen the feel. They also produce some noise. Any chance the stops are preventing full motion of the synchro- Tremec says there are internal stops inside the trans. Hope this helps...

    05 GT engine knocking!!!

The 05 Mustang does have moderate injector tick noise- if dealer says it is that, he is likely right. It is not noticeable inside the car. The car has tons of great features!

Those who need this fix This owner only has one grind on the first shift. Most of the complaints are much more serious than this. I would leave it alone. And another owner of a 2004 Mustang talks of trying to get this TSB performed-- we should note the TSB is for 2001 to 2003 only. This...
