    You will really not see much of a increase in HP if you are simpley going to a 347, 2" of extra displacement is not worth it. The only difference between what you have and a 347 is a .30 overbore on the cyl.

    The Typhoon is good if you short on cash. You might have to spend some time "cleaning" it up. The casting leave much work to be done. I would pony up the extra $$ and by the real deal. You really can't go wrong with the Edlbrock quality... + it made here in the good old USA:flag:

    I have the March Alum. kit ( it has a fancy alt. pulley cover). I agree with Paul. There a soild performer! I also gain .3 and 2.4 mph in my 1/4 time. I went with the Alum. because of the F'ing great winters we have here in the northeast :(.. Alum will not rust ( unlike the rest of my car!

    You could try a step down tranformer for Radio Shack? The BIG pot. will work but be on the safe side.. Say you pump draw 5 amps at start and say 2 amp running under load, use a larger Pot them you need, 10 amp would be fine. You are doing a great job by the way. For all the people taking on here...

    It turns out the the header flage is twisted?? I check it with a stright edge, I am going to try to heat it up and twist it back...WTF I have NO LUCK what so ever...:)

    THe Breslin Split lock are the ones with the Alen head in the center correct? I look at them, but it seem to be a major PITA to get a alen head in there to lock them down.. :D

    You might look in to the Holley Lower... I will fit. I ran my 1.5 on it untill I upgraded to the 2.2 and GT-40 Lower ( so I could runn the Flowzilla intake)

    Problem with stock , Autometer and Tweecer TACH

    Ernie, 1. Double check all the grounds. 2. Hook a Dwell Tach up and check the reading it give against with the stock and autometer says. Also the Dwell Tach can be used to trouble shoot your ignition. I hope this helps, John
