I changed mine at 55k. miles, following the tsb and had no problems. It did sound like a tap, cutting threads coming out but they were fine. I hope this helps! Michael

Hey LFR. you can get a grease gun and synthetic grease at any Auto Parts Store. I just did the same and got the Lucas grease, it was about $4 and the gun was only $12 I think. Also make sure you get one with a flexible hose to get into those tight areas. (That sounds bad:)

I'm pretty anal when I wax my car. I tape of the black trim to keep the wax off. I tape one side, apply wax and then use the tape on the opposite side. However if you get it on the trim, WD-40 will take it off. I have tried other cleaners but WD-40 is the s**t!

Is there an emergency release for the automatics? I think I remember reading something about it. Have you looked in your owners manual? Did you try going back in to neutral a few times?

Got it back and it is a different driving experience. They replaced the clutch, pressure plate and slave cylinder and shifting is the way it should be. the service dept. I use does a first rate job!

Sorry to hear about your loss. I have amputated two finger tips (both ring fingers) over the years and there is nothing I cannot do. You will more or less get used to it. The sensitivity will decrease with time and you'll be fine!

The new one is a much more sturdy looking piece. The problem I noticed with the old cable was the rubber boot where it attaches to the rear caliper was completely dry rotted, and would let water get in and freeze. They also turned the passenger rotor and replaced the brake pads.

I remember on a Fox, I had that problem and it was caused by the Vanity mirror light staying on due to a broken visor. I know it sounds wierd but it was the culprit!

Jeff, I have 255/50/17 Nitto 450's on the "Concept Wheels" and they fit fine and look much better than stock. They are not on my car right now because I have an extra set of wheels (Bullitts) for winter driving. I can snap a picture of them this Weekend with them off of the car if you would like.

Sounds like your Heater Core is going out! I replaced one in my fox and it was a pain. You can bypass your heater core until you can repair it. Don't try stop leak.
