    all ground cleaned, checked and same issue. even on a whim stabbed another dist in it just in case the TFI/pip were acting up. No change.

    Ok I know it is intact, I will double check to make sure it is not corroded inside the connection, and also under the tab at the body and report back. Thanks jrichker! Like I said this one has me at that need to step away, or set something on fire point :)

    Nothing with a noid light. Like I said it has power to the red lead, nothing to the other color lead, no Cont to ground. However it does have cont from the injector plugs to the corresponding pins at the ecu. Normally I would figure the ecu was junk, but it runs my Cobra just fine.

    Yeah I have been through what I believe to be all of the normal steps (per that writeup and my probst books) Spout also make no change.

    can someone measure an 01-04 GT hood scoop for me?

    Just curious of it's dimensions, I have looked and I can find measurements for where it sits on the hood, but not the scoop itself. I am contemplating one for a totally different project I am working on but want to see if it's the size I want first! Thanks!

    Slight heat with the heat gun and a plastic trim remover chisel. They had been off the car before and the metal piece was a bit rippled. have them under some 2x4's with weight on top of them to get them to lay flat. 79- If I can think of anything I will let ya know! what do ya have laying...

    yeah the only 89 that could have been a factory turbo would be an XR4TI. Mustang no longer got turbochargers after 86, and the T-birds were done in 88. if you can get some pictures of that car that would help try to figure out what it is.

    Wow. considering there were several different turbos that the 2.3 used stock, again it really depends. was this a carb'd turbo car? a Turbocoupe- if so what year?? SVO? Merkur? Kind of like walking into the 5.0 forums and saying " will this V8 work? is it worth it?"

    Not really. Most everyone in this forum is either hopping/fixing up the 2.3, or putting a turbo engine in. most people discussing the swaps are in the 5.0 forums. So you are getting 18 with a carbed 351? wow that's impressive. is that highway or city or combined? My 87 LX was running 12's...

    To answer your questions: 1: possibly 2: as much as it can until the shaft breaks. to better assist you we need to know what it is, and what you want to do with it. Is it an IHI,T3,T4,Holset,Schwitzer,powerstroke, etc?

    in this forum most of us are sticking with the 2.3 so your best bet may be to post this over in the 5.0 forums as we typically only swap out the na for a turbo engine as it is a pretty cheap and easy swap and we enjoy being different and staying efi so we have great performance and fuel economy...
