Engine Break-in Period = No Road Trip?

Have about 200 miles on the new Mustang and was going to take a road trip down to my sisters - about 8 hours away. I saw in the owners manual that it is not recommended to run the engine at a continuous speed (like highway driving) for the first 1,000 miles. :Damnit: Bad idea to go, or no big...

How to remove the back seat? Build sheet

Thanks Thanks for the picture. Figured it was easy just couldn't find it. I have heard of others finding the build sheets under there and thought I'd take a look.

How to remove the back seat? Build sheet

I was wanting to take a look under the back seat of my 06 to see if the build sheet was there. After toying with it awhile I couldn't find an easy way to get it to lift so I thought I'd better come get some advice before I broke something? Need some directions! How many others have found their...

Just traded my 67 GTA for an 2006 "Pony Package"

I understand Your in my boat bvor, and I knew if I sold the car and let the money sit that it would disappear slowly but surely and I'd never get the new Mustang.

Just traded my 67 GTA for an 2006 "Pony Package"

Not a hoax I have had my GTA for a couple of years and it has provided me with lots of of enjoyment. But, and there is always a but, it's no longer practical. I would love to be in the position to have a car that sat in the garage and waited for a sunny Saturday, however I need a car I can...

Just traded my 67 GTA for an 2006 "Pony Package"

Well, yesterday I drove into one of the local Ford dealerships in my 1967 GTA convertible (an above average weekend driver), just to look around. It just so happened (fate I guess) that the owner of the dealership was standing there and flagged me down. Come to find out he had been looking for a...

    289 Head question

I was thinking of upgrading my stock 289 2v to an Edlebrock Performer manifold and an Edlebrock 500 cfm carb. I assumed the heads on the original 2v and 4v 289's were the same, but a local mechanic told me he thought I would have a probem because they were not the same and if I changed...

What should I expect to pay?

I'm getting ready to purchase a new interior kit and was wondering what a fair price would be for labor to re-upholster seats and quarter trim on my 67 Vert. $425.00 for labor alone seems a bit steep  (local shop price quote)

    Best paint for Radiator top?

The paint on the top of my 67 Mustang radiator is in need of help. Whats the best paint for a "do it yourself" re-paint job. Just looking to tape it off and put a nice (until restoration) looking finish on it.
