    just my 2 cents but your 24lb injectors are a tad big for your combo.

    Heads and cam?

    the exhaust would be a good choice, but gears would be better. buy all your bolt ons sized to your future plan, such as tb and maf. sooner or later your probably gonna get an h/c/i combo so build for that.

    300 horse?

    you wont really be close to 300 hp. maybe 230-240 at the wheels, kinda pushing it though. whats with the 36lb injectors??? way too big. to get around 300hp you really need good heads and cam.

    x-cam question

    there was another guy on one of the other tech sites who was having trouble passing with an x-cam. radical cams can sometimes have trouble with the sniffer test.

    Rectangle Mass Air Meter Connector

    just for everyones info, the 88 california cars had a different maf connection than the 89 50 state cars. it is ok to change the connector to the new version. i learned this from my buddys 88 california coupe.

    Too Much Power

    if you really want a mustang its usually best to buy one thats bonestock and very clean. theres a ton of them out there. besides its funner to build one than buy one. trust me ive been through 4 5.0's now. and my newest lx is the best one so far because it was all original when I got it.

    Rough Idle/Running VERY Rich...HELP!!

    mine does the same thing, but I just put heads cam and intake on. its acted like that since i started it. if you figure it out let me know.,, could it be a bad injector, how do i check for a bad injector?
