very confused and up the creek

take it to a machine shop and have them inspect the crank. if it can clean up at .010 then just have it turned and buy matching bearings. if you did not spin a bearing then you can reuse the rods if you want, just have inspected and replace the bolts. It all is dependent on the money you...

the iats have to be in a certain range to complete the evap monitor(not over 100*). I due mine in winter so I don't have that issue. being summer time that can be an issue, you can also do it in the evening/early morning too

    Kenne Bell Problems (Smog)

you can get rid of the p1000 in a 10 mile trip under the right conditions.I have passed with my KB and stage 3 blower cams. your tuner saying he can't do it is bs,you have the wrong tuner, see my sig.the key is to have full egr flow in the tune and run the stock exh.(for me anyway). the hardest...

    Tork Tech numbers/pics/vids

great #'s. I would go with 3:73's, they still cruise great and compliment a pd blower well. I am suprised they have an open element in the engine compartment sucking in hot air thou, I would seal it to suck cold air from fenderwell imo

    Fender CAI vs Engine CAI

one factor in detonation is the temp of the air being drawn in,esp. under boost. With the KB all tuners start pulling timing the higher the aits get(as low as 110*) there is a very big difference in the power from 90* to 130* aits. the i/c helps but the KB under no boost(bypass open) creates a...

    Fuel pressure

seen the no, but with all your flow data, you did not say what he should see, couldn't tell if you were saying too low or high, he needed an answer for what pressure he should see, not the science of flow several posted a much better way to get a good idea of what he should see(see my...

    Fuel pressure

I am a little concerned /confused on the info posted. for one 12:5 afr at 10 psi is not considered safe, these figures seem to apply at 100% duty cycle, which you don't want, and lastly what about the effects of the pressure/vacuum the injector see's at the tip. he was asking about pressure not...

I could use some HELP here guys..

sounds like preignition like people have said, is your intake stock? could it be the start of a exh. leak?

    Fuel pressure

a good rule of thumb is for every 1 psi boost you should see 1 psi increase over 39psi and for every 2" of vacuum you should see a 1 psi drop from 39 psi. 20" of vacuum-~ 30 psi wot(0")- 39 psi 10lbs boost- ~ 49psi
