    cooling problems

What size of elec. fan, or make and model of fan if you know? You may have bought too small of a fan. I have problems with mine if I use the A/C, otherwise the Flex-a-lite 185 fan does a fine job.

Rear brake lines - removal questions

If you can't figure out how to remove the e-brake cable, or are stumped by the assembly of the rear drum brakes, you should not be working on your Mustang. Just spray it all off with Brake Cleaner, take a good look, then disassemble.

how will the B-cam act over stock?

The stock 5.0 roller cam does really well with just about everything. I would not change from the stock cam unless your are trying really hard to extract every last bit of performance from your engine, and even then maybe not. IMO, the camshaft should be one of the most carefully chosen...

Going to Dyno the car tomorrow, any guesses on what she's pushin?

A lot of that will depend on how well your carb is tuned. It seems that this becoming a lost art and most people lack sufficient knowledge to properly jet and tune a carb for an engine. If the carb is good, I'm betting 330hp to the rear wheels using the stock headers.

    What size injectors?

The absolute minimum would be 30# injectors, but 42# injectors will give you more tuning flexibility.

    question about swapping cars

Odd, I was thinking of getting an '84 GT front-end for my current '89 Mustang. I like the 4-eye look, especially the '84 GT since I used to have one.

    Deep Dish Bullits on fox

No, those won't fit on a 79-93 fox Mustang without rear quarter panel mods or rear end narrowing, in which case you would only do on a drag car. I think you can fit up to a 275mm or 285mm wide tire on a 9" to 9.5" wheel with when rolling the fender very tightly, otherwise 255mm or 265mm on a...

Rear lower control arms What goes with mac?

Being an 83 model, replace with the FMS unless you want to stiffen the riden a little more. My experience is that the lower control arms offer more than the uppers for a daily driver.

Anyone swap 87-90 fenders with 91-93???

The reason the break in on the '91-up models is that is the first year for put 16" wheels on the Mustang, up to '90 they used 14" & 15" wheels on all applications is various wheel styles and widths. You might think that even through the tire is the same width and same overall diameter, that...

    Time to address my camshaft

Not only will the adjustment have to be done with a solid roller, but they are a little noisier too, will sound like constant valve clatter, although perfectly normal. Unless you are racing only, stick with a hydraulic roller cam. Do you want to pull your upper intake each time you have to...

Need help, problem converting 85 lx to dual exhaust

H-Pipe exhaust bracket (under the trans) is upside down? This could raise or lower the H-Pipe by 1-inch depending on which side you mounted it.

power steering - Rack is moving

Energy Suspension sells three different Rack & Pinion bushing, all dependent on the year on the rack. Since you replaced it, there is no telling what year rack it is, as I think all will work. Back to the real problem, yes, there are different O.D. bushing for the rack & pinion bushings, you...

Between these two, which is the better gasket?

If you using this with stock heads and are using the car as a daily driver with no nitrous or blower, use the 1152 gasket. These gasket have stainless steel embedded into the gasket core for each cylinder for stronger than stock sealing. If you are using any cast-iron performance or stock...

    car overheats after t-5z swap......?

But he said it happened after the AOD to T5 conversion, so it would be logical to assume the gauge all the sudden went bad. The swap involves dealing with the gauge cluster, getting under the dash, etc.. moving things around at the firewall, which really points to an issue with that.

    Bullit rims size choice

for the 17x8's I could be wrong, but I don't think the fronts will work if you want to have the center caps on, as the brake rotor extends too far out for clearance. If the center caps aren't an issue for you, they will bolt right up with a 5-lug conversion. But in order for you to do a 5-lug...

    car overheats after t-5z swap......?

Overheating or running hotter than usual? If it truly is overheating, then just to cover the basics, what did you do with the auto trans fluid cooling lines that went to the radiatior? If running hotter, than like said above, check to make sure you did not disconnect or damage and ground...

    E-cam?

FMS states that the E303 cam will work OK with stock stall speeds on AOD equipped vehicles, but if you are going to change the convertor, stay under 2000rpm stall with that cam, anything more is useless. That is not a radical cam by any means and still offers good idle characteristics with good...

    AFR 165cc or 185cc

Get the 165cc heads if it's mostly a daily driver, 185cc if you mostly race it. Since it is carb'd, the engine will like a little more vacuum, and with the 185cc heads the intake velocity speed with drop hurting low speed driveability with the 185cc heads. The drop in velocity with a carb...
