2015 Ford Mustang Gt Spotted In A Parking Lot

Actually that's an Eco-boost. V6 has the pony with tri-bar on the tail. Pony with no tri-bar is Eco-boost, and GT says GT.

    Recall 08C02--434,593 vehicles affected

Had mine done yesterday, along with a regular checkup. They didn't touch my Bama tune at all, it worked as fine going in as it did coming out. I would think as long as you tell them not to touch the PCM, you should be fine.

To Restore or Resto-Mod 68 Fastback

Nice find, and it's great you have the full history of the car. If it was mine, I'd restore it. Mostly because you do have the history. If it had been a 10 owner car, and there was no history with it, then I'd go resto-mod big time. I just think this car would be cool to see restored, and...

California Special rear bumper vs. GT500

Ditto for the splash guards. I got them the same time I got the front and rear bumpers, the parts guy I worked with suggested them, since they were only $10. They mount with existing screws, so of you don't like they they can be taken off in just a couple minutes, with no sign they were ever...

California Special rear bumper vs. GT500

    Looks like 5.75".

California Special rear bumper vs. GT500

According to Ford, it sits 1.5" lower than the stock front bumper. I'd guess that's just about right. I've got Steeda Ultralite springs on, so my whole car sits about 1" lower also. I've scraped mine a few times, and at work, if I get close to the curb the center section just fits over...

California Special rear bumper vs. GT500

PM sent, Macheesemo. I second the comment about the spalsh guards. I got them, and they're unobtrusive, but also a nice touch.

California Special rear bumper vs. GT500

Ok, here are a couple pics. Everything below the crease on both front and back is textured. You really can't see it on the back, but on the pic of the front, the paint looks dull because of the texture. From the back, the black paint was there when the raw piece arrived from ford, with tape...

California Special rear bumper vs. GT500

My car's right outside, I'll take some pics and see if I can get the texture to show, and post them up here for you.

California Special rear bumper vs. GT500

The only difference between the GT500 and the GT/CS rear bumper is the amount of it that's been pre-painted black. On The GT500 it's black all the way around, from wheel well to wheel well. On the GT/CS, it's only black between the exhaust cutouts (and just around them). The rest of the bumper...

    UD Pulley Installation help

The hacksaw should work fine, although my Steeda kit had the replacement bolt, it's already on, so I can't really measure it. You should talk to Brenspeed about that bolt. The puller you need seems to be refered to as a Chrylser pulley puller, at Autozone it's something like #27139 on their...

2006 Shelby GT-H rented in Vegas *PICS*

Very nice pics. A co-worker saw you taking pics on Sunset, with the plane in the background. We don't work very far from there. I'm still trying to decide if I want to rent one to go to the MCLV meeting next week, since mine won't be in for 3 more weeks or so.

    GT350H Spy Photos

I sit just me, or does the front bumper on the GT-H look just like the new fornt on the GT-CS? And the hood is definitely the CS6 hood. With the Power pack and Handling pack, should be a pretty nice performing car. Think I'm going to get my name on the list at Hertz here in LV to rent it for...

Local Dealer ordering my 2007 GT in March

The order guide is out, but I also haven't been able to get a good answer on when you can order a 2007. Looks like today you can order the Shelby GT500, though. From what I've read, the new interios will be dark charcoal, but with color inserts in the seats and on the door panels. I like...

    Another one takes a hit

Just got the word, it's been determined to be a "Total Loss". Too bad, because it's still a really nice car from the firewall back. And now I'm going to have to go pull the parts I just put on it, so I can save them for the next one. I'll be talking with the loss adjuster in the next...

    Another one takes a hit

thanks DRF. All I got was a couple scrapes on my left thumb from the airbag going off. No soreness anywhere else at all. Except my broken heart, looking at my baby all banged up like this. :(

    Another one takes a hit

2 more pics. If the work is going to cost more than 65% of the value, they total it here in LV. If they do, I guess I can go get a new one. Might buy this one back though, and get it fixed, or part it out. The drivetrain would be cool in a Cobra, and I am sure I could sell most of the other...

    Another one takes a hit

I'm usually more active on Brad's site, but it's down and I had to share/vent. Saturday I was out for a drive around town, nice day, I was taking it easy. I was in the left lane approaching an intersection, nice bright green lights staring at me from overhead. All of a sudden I see a...

My '05 tearing up local autox track *vids*

Looks good. It does look like that surface needs some work, but I kinda like the whooptie's on the back side. :)

Ricer from hell (Horribly off topic)

All that body work and the only custom bits inside are the fuel hose and the tach. What a half arsed job.
