Man this is weird, it don't start ticking till after I drive it for a good 20 minutes or so, would this sound like a throwout bearing to you ?

Welp tightened up the header flange & got rid of one slight tick but it still ticks after the car warms up, oddly it sounds like it's coming from the bell housing, wasn't doing it while I was driving but when I got home & pushed in the clutch it would tick.

Ya I hear ya but thing is they did not leak last time & I even cleaned off a few high spots this time first before reinstalling em, it's only one side really ticking, maybe I'll just be able to snug em up allittle bit more & fix the problem :shrug:

Just go to autozone or advanced they got loaners, the size you need is 1/4.

I definately think it's a header, only does it when the motor warms up & there was a slight tick when I finished the motor, I tore it back down & redid the rockers thinking I messed up on but it still ticked afterwords & to top it off I reused the header gaskets since I was using coppers, ohwell...

Yes, loaners are available & most any part stores & the direction on the drill to prime is reverse.

Pilot bearing is brand new with the motor & throwout bearing only has a few hundred miles on it. I just went out & fired it up after letting it cool off for a hour & no more tick, must be a header :damnit:

5 w 30 regular motor oil, you need something thin, First off you want to prime the motor manualy using a drill before you start it, drive it around, by the time you got 100 miles on it your oil will need replacing, mine actually turned black this last time, change the oil, 5w or 10w 30 drive it...

I had a 1.5l, I recently just sold it & bought a 2.2 wich is the Blowzilla after stroking & forging my motor, the 1.5l new only costs $2999.00 it will do 6-10 lbs of boost on a stock or mildly modified motor running 93 octane & pulling out a few degrees of timing @ wot you can be fine running...

I had y heads, intake & underdrive pulleys, 1.7 rockers & exhaust & made 280rwhp.

I had my account froze onetime "limited" and I had over $5k in there, they never gave me my account access back & 6 months later they closed my account & a month after that sent me a check for what I had in there.

I can take my Kenne bell off & put it back on now in like an hour but that is on a 93, don't know the difference.

I don't like the bodys of the 94 & up, too big. The bigger & bubbleier they keep making the newer cars the more I hate them, it's a joke to me to see allittle two door car pull up next to me while driving my suv & sitting as high as my suv with off road tires.

Most cams come with 4 or so * advance already ground in them anymore & do not require anymore & doing so could create piston - valve clearance problems.
