    Underdrive pulleys worth it??

    I got U/D's on my '87 GT and they do work, but I didn't change the Alt. pulley. I just used the crank, and water pump pulley and got a shorter belt. No probs with charging.

    Well some scholars beleive that the Universe is based on Chaos Theory. Randomness as a theoretical principle is quite reasonable, perhaps you car is just ascribing to the "random" theory.

    17" Cobra R's tire size

    I just got Cobra R's from AFS. I got 17x8 front and 17x9 rear, both with 255/40's. Now the fronts rub the front of the wheel well really bad at full lock, I'm gonna have to do some cutting of the plastic splash guard & ground effect. What else can i do? Will the rack limiter resolve this...

    Cobra R wheel & lug usage question...

    I just got some Cobra R wheels from AFS wheels, 17x9 and 17x8....can I use the stock lugs and wheel locks on these??? they may not look the best but will they work?? i got a '87 GT 4 lug... TIA techies :nice:

    hose kits: FMS or Good year?

    I got the goodyear kit for ~$80 bucks with all the hoses, and it came WITH stainless clamps...can't remember where, some ad in 5.0 mag.

    Huh? If this were true and the springs "can't hold the car weight" the car would sit lower NOT higher. :shrug: No offense to the owner, but that 5.0 has more issues than ride height.

    Mine is def. slipping. the tensioner is at its lowest postion, & The ALT dash light flashes intermittantly :damnit:

    Factory Tape Stripe removal question

    I'm trying to remove the 1" factory tape stripe that came on some 1987 GT's. Its the stripe on the lower body molding. After 17 yrs its stuck on pretty good!! Trying to pull it off with my fingers is taking forever, since it tears in tiny pieces. Is there anything I can spray on or apply...
