    :nice: thanks thats the way i did. It seems like the guy who use to own the car before me had done the swap or messed with the wires since the white/black and the orange/black wire had some heat tape on them. its working good. Im just gonna add the 4ga ground and check the voltage :hail2:

    Radio harness was cut, does this affect other things?

    I dont think it affects anything. I think the hardness is only for the radio, power, ground rear speakers, front speakers, dash speakers, and antenna. i think thats all the hardness controls.

    yea you can still buy it but only if your EPA certified. theres a good reaplacement for R12 which goes by hte name of Hot Shot.

    had the same problem turned out to be my starter solenoid for now run a screw driver from the positive side to the negative side of the solenoid if that turns it on then thats more than likely ur problem

    those shops are stupid trying to rip you off. try calling a house air conditioning company they should have r12 and maybe they can do it on your car. 134a its sold with no lisense anywhere just r12,hot shot,r22, nu 22 and a few others you need to be EPA certified.

    yea what JRich said you wont be able to get R12 without being EPA certified and if you cant find R12 theres a new replace for it which is called "hot shot" that replaces R12.
