    I have a 66 coupe with a 4 speed 3:50 posi gear with 215/60 14 inch radial tires. What result do I get by going to a taller and a bit wider tire. Do I gain top end speed but slower on 60 foot time? I am confused about this. This car is used for mainly street and a occasional strip use.

    If this is in fact a K code, it is worth restoring. Automatics were available in 1966 as previously stated. There are a lot of subtle differences for the K code mustang, take your time to insure it is not a clone that they are asking the K code price. There is a website dedicated to K codes...

    Getting rid of interior smell

    :flag: The vinegar smell will disapate after neutralizing the odor. This is similar to putting baking soda inside you refridgerator to remove food odors.

    Something simple! Pour some vinegar into a pan or pot and let it stand inside the car for a day or two. I have been successful with this. :D :D

    I saw a 67 or 68 at a show this summer that was converted from a coupe to a fast back as told by the owner . I did not look at it real closely but it did look good but problay not exact proportions. So it has been done. This was in the Chicago area.

    A winter project will be to rewire my 66 k coupe. It has been spliced and diced over the years and needs to be made reliable. Should I go with a stock type harness or go with the painless harness. Also any idea of costs for the harness kits. Thanks for your continued support.

    Thanks for the info. My 60 foot times were around 3 seconds. I will practice the launch and if i can' get the time down then I'll try stickier tires.Can anyone recommend a launch technique for street tires.
