I replaced mine with a Ford one from the dealer but I like the one in the link you posted it should be easier to check you're timing with clearly marked lines like that one rather than using whiteout or something yourself.

I just put one in my car about two weeks ago and didn't have that problem, had to the upper and lower radiator hoses along with the mounting brackets to get it in there..not exactly a direct fit, these pictures show the clearance between the fan and water pump.

I haven't done the conversion and don't plan to but one pro would be that it gets rid of the stupid metal tube from the header to the throttle body of the SN that's always a pain to get on and off, I hate that thing.
