    I suppose that's certainly possible, I couldn't be sure I got the cable head on all the way. I also noticed that the inner cable was fairly recessed in the cable head and there was a bit of crud down in the cable head, but I couldn't tell if it was grease or dirt or plastic grounds.

    92 5.0 Won't Idle Or Hold Revs

    Car ran fine two weeks ago, now won't idle, wants to die when in gear and won't hold revs while in neutral with throttle partly engaged. Example - idling roughly around 500, give it gas to keep it alive and I hold it at 2K. The idle will just fall flat down 500-1500 revs fast like i turned it...

    The replacement I got is in the link below. When I pull the relay apart, the piece I got from Autozone doesn't appear to fit. It has different prongs and the shape isn't right either. Am I pulling the relay apart wrong or what? I am going nuts not able to figure out how to replace a simple...

    Thanks Bill, I'll go check. I do have 2 relays under the MAF housing and when the pump was running earlier, I pulled one of the relays up and the pump shut off. It was the relay closer to the front of the car. Anyway, I'll check it out.
