    exhaust axleback or catbacks?

    I just took the stock mufflers off and ran straight pipe out the back. It pops a little but it's loud. That's the way I like it though.

    Problem solved. golfnutjetsfan was on the money. My clutch was froze to the flywheel. Started it in gear and drove it about 100 feet and it broke itself loose. Drives fine now Thanx for everyones advise -krowbar-

    short of going to a junkyard I haven't been able to find many body parts for my 85' GT. I've been looking for a rear deck lid (hatchback) and patch panels on the rear quarter closer to the roof of the car. Any suggested links?

    It's a plate yes, but if I take the starter out wouldn't I be able to see the clutch from that side? Instead of just the pressure plate from the drivers side.

    I don't have a cover over the fork. I have to pull the inspection cover- between the motor and trans. The one that the starter is attatched to.

    it seems more like its not engaging at all. I cant even get the car to shift into gear unless the engine is off.

    Since I've posted this I have checked the fluid level-good. The clutch fork goes all the way in( about 1/4" from touching the bellhousing) I can't actually see the clutch w/o taking the the dust cover off(Perfectlly placed starter bolts)
