    Polishing the Air Intake for performance

    Polishing The intake manifold is plastic so I am not sure that you could polish the inside. You could try to polish the stock throttle body. I know on C5 vettes it was good for about 5-10 hp. All you need is some patience and very fine sand paper. A dremel tool would help.

    I would call the company If you did it yourself but tightened the spring according to their instructions then I think that the company should provide a new spring w/o you having to buy a new stock TB

    K&N Filter charger ??

    I have K&N with Borla Axel Back I installed the K&N CAI before the Borla's and the car was a little louder with the CAI. More air in = more air out = a little louder. I have not dyno'd the car but I could tell that there was more power. Also, no tune and I have never thrown a code.

    I downloaded the file with the dimensions for the 66-67 GT350 stripes. I had these painted on. The car is Sonic Blue and the stripe color is the stock wheel paint.

    Every car is a little different but I think that they are closer to each other more than they are apart. So, I think a "canned tune" most likely gets you where you would like to be. Also, what if the dealer reflashes you car? Your out a tune then? or will/can the dyno shop load your "custom"...
