    With as much low end as the 302 makes, 3.55s or lower (numerically) would probably be your best bet (provided you have stock heads/cam).

    The 5.0 scene (old 5.0, that is) in it's prime was pretty awesome. I miss my '95 GT sometimes too. Sold it back in 2008- just got bored with it.

    4.10s for sure. 'Don't fear the gear'! 3Vs respond very well to aggressive gearing. The 4.10s will also work great with a centifugal style blower if you go that route in the future (ProCharger, Vortech, Paxton). :D

    It's probably a waste of money. I don't think I've ever heard of dirty/clogged injectors causing problems on 3V Mustangs. Replacing your fuel filter would be a great idea though- they do get pretty bad and do restrict flow when they start getting gunked up.

    Not sure what the exact largest is, but I run 275s without any issues at all. I've had 275/50/15 Mickey Thompsons, 275/40/17 Hoosiers, and 275/50/17 Falkens on the car without any clearance issues.

    oil leak(drip, drip, drip)

    The rear main seals on our cars like to leak alot. I'd rule out the lower intake manifold seal, the valve covers, and the PVC valve first. Once these are out I'd definitley think rear main seal.

    Old fashioned shade tree mechanic trick- fire up the car, let it run for a minute until the headers just get hot. Dampen a paper towel and touch each header with the damp towel. If it sizzles the cylinder is firing and getting fuel and spark, if not, it isn't.

    lt1, 4.6 or 5.0?

    Stock LT1 fbodies run mid-14s with average drivers (90% of people) and low-14s with good drivers. A real shiftmeister can crack a 13.9. They aren't THAT fast...certainly not out of the range of a bolt-on SN95.
