    Detailed Engine Bays.

Not to fall off topic too much, I haven't finished the car yet. It's got a built bottom end, ported heads, cams, t-trim, 8-rib pulley conversion, meth injection and a bunch of other things. It made damn good power for a baseline pull, but I will be seeing much more power in a few weeks.

~help~ MSD tach DIS driver Hookup?

what year car? On my 2003 GT, it's on one of the main harnesses. It's a thick red wire, you clip that wire and run the solid red from the MSD box to the passenger side of the wire and the red/green to the end of the wire that goes towards the engine. Once that is complete, just hook up your...

Taking a Vortech blown stang on a 1300mi trip what should I know

The car originally made 403hp and was backed down to 385hp witht he SCT chip. The Diablo chip came with the blower kit and it was making like 350hp or so with the tune, and the owner wasn't happy and went SCT. The car does run strong, but if I could have Tim tune my car, I would be all over...

Taking a Vortech blown stang on a 1300mi trip what should I know

Welcome man, I personally know the owner of the car you are buying. We basically have identical cars. You will not be disapointed at all. I might take the drive to orlando with him to deliver you the car.

    shift knob

Get something that has a coating on it. The rea aluminum ones get hot as hell, mine lasted a week on the car. The tranny will keep the shift knob hot, as after the car has been sitting in the shade, the shift handle will still be warm.

    Tire Size

The rims will hold 275/40/17, but I don't recomend them on the front as the tire actually points-out in the center because it wasn't designed for an 8 inch rim.

One question, did you fuse it at the battery connection? If you did, then the fust would have blown before the fire starting.

    Mid pipe with stock Catback???

It actually doesn't sound too bad, it just makes the stock system louder. You'll still benefit from the o/r pipe, just not as much as you would with having a catback system.

Deep Dish?? not about pics or wheel size

Personally, I have 2 sets of rear rims, 17x9 and 17x10.5. The tires choices on the 17x9 rim (275/40/17 tire) are much better, I use the KDWS tires and love them, on the 17x10.5 I have 555R 315/35/17. Ride quality didn't change, but when I had stock gears, I felt the car a bit sluggish on...
