I know the manufacture says 87 is fine, but how many of you that own a 05 are running 87 octane in your car. I always put 89 or 91 in mine. :shrug:

I for one dont care about how fast it will go in the 1/4....I will probably never take mine to the strip and dont street race. This motor is starving for mods 300hp may be underrated just like the LS1 was when it came out. I know I had a 98 LS1 Camaro and it was a beast. This is not a drag...

37mph, 19mpg....did you check out the Anti-Theift that will roll both windows down? If not lock the door with the fob and unlock and hold the unlock down for 3 sec...rolls down both windows. Put the key in the drivers door and turn to the rear and they go up. :flag:

with the mufflers way back there, the popping sound may be ard to get rid of.

Back to the original subject, fake scoops are just that FAKE SCOOPS plastic looking ricer things. The only thing an 05 needs is a cowl induction hood. I for one am glad Ford didnt put any FAKE SCOOPS on it, if its not functional its worthless airo-dynamic drag :damnit:

Now I dont think it is the CDs. I saw him today and now the head unit will not even come on. We pulled the fuse but it was good. May just be a defective unit. He said he was taking it in on Mon, the thing I dont get, maybe if the Techs would stop fighting long enough they could tell me, why did...

Mine does something like yours and its the 1000, I believe they use the same head unit, sounds like ford may hae a problem here.

The subs are on the passanger side in the trunk and no amps across the top of the trunk opening, and boy does it sound good :banana:

It is part of the interor upgrade. where others just show miles and trip readings the upgrade shows miles till empty, avg MPH, avg MPG, Gallons used, engine run time, and a couple of other things.

The Shaker decks say MP3 on the front right side, if it doesnt advertise it I doubt it.

Thanks, thats fine for me but my friends has 3 discs in it and the unit will not even function, dont think he wants to wait a couple of months to listen to CDs. He is taking his car in this weekend.

The IUP also adds the Messege Center which is very nice.
