i agree it would be close....i think i remember an 04 GT auto tested 0-60 around 6 secs.... the 05 V6 is 7 secs..... so that's pretty close. Obviously the GT will beat it, but not by much. that 5-spd auto in the 05 is pretty aweseome. its a faster car than i expected.

the oil filter for the new GT is FL 820s, and the oil is 5W20. do yourself a favor and use the Ford Motorcraft filter and oil. especially not fram, check the filter quality characteristics between oil filters and you will see that Motorcraft filters are up there with the best, definitely...

well guys, i hate to break it to you, but black book values are the current market values of the vehicles. there are many factors that predict what the value will be. yes, most dealers use black book values, but not all will swear by them. it is usually used as a reference or starting point...

if you read the article, it says radio buttons ingeniously located in spokes of steering wheel?? is this true? i haven't seen any pics yet of that, and i have sat in an 05 and didn't see any buttons other than cruise control. are radio buttons also on the steering wheel??

I agree. I am holding off my order until the 18's are available. I talked to a Ford rep and he said they were just working things out with suppliers, but he wouldn't say when that will be. I really hope it is soon, and if anyone knows more, please post it.
