WOW, you have to see this 66 on Ebay!!!

Body work is real rough on that car. Look at the panel gaps - especially around the hood. I realize the early Mustangs weren't built to the same tolerances as say - a late model rice-burner, but that car is a mess.

2004 mitsubishi eclipse spyder gts vs. 68 mustang coupe

LOL! Can you say "no low end torque". 0-60, at speed, whatever you want - you're going to smoke him every time, unless he's got some serious mods. That's an 8 second car, I'm sure you can do better than that. Just make sure you hook up and you shouldn't have an issue.

    Considering purchase - advice needed

Thanks for the words of wisdom. My friend Shawn (the one who restored the 66) also pointed out that there is some sort of cardboard duct near the cowl area that tends to rot and degrade with wetness and age. Not that it's an expensive part, but I've read that getting up under the dash is not a...

    Considering purchase - advice needed

Hello All, I've been a classic Mustang enthusiast since building my first plastic 65 fastback model at the age of 7. I am now at the point in my life where actually owning one is financially feasible (I'm 27 and have a house, garage and a daily driver). I've actually subscribed to Classic...
