Freaky's Official Explorer and GT-40 intake thread. 56k, dont' bother

The GT40X heads are aluminum and didn't come on any production vehicle. The cast iron GT40s and GT40Ps did, and they were both available on the Explorers. Post up some pics if you can.

    The SN65 project car

To fund another project, perhaps? They may have had intentions of selling it at first, too, so who knows. If I built something like that though, it'd be very difficult for me to sell.

I used the Fel-Pro 1250 gasket set, as do a lot of people. I was subscribed to a thread on the Corral this year that was discussing the color of the original intakes. I will see if I can find it for you.

Yes, but you could still run an EGR-equipped intake if you think you'll ever be switching back to EGR in the future.

I was anticipating that to happen after inserting the BB code for the pic, but it actually showed up and still is. Here's that pic with a different host:

    The SN65 project car

This goes without saying since many have said to you already, but Bob, you, your brother and anyone else who pitched in, did an outstanding job on the SN-65 project. Seeing the project come full circle is amazing and must be an incredible feeling. Once again great job on the car and...

Awesome property! That would be an awesome place to live. Pretty tranquil around there, I suppose? Get to cleaning that garage out and start working on the stang in there!

I switched the Titanium to Bright Silver. I kind of wished I would have stuck with Titanium. I am happy with it though as it will also match up better with the '98 Cobra wheels that will be going on soon. Upper color is Reef Blue.

What did you guys do about the vacuum lines? AFM's write-up is pretty vague. I see how they connected the PCV by tee-ing it off. This is all they say on the subject: You will need to do a few adaptations to fit all the lines. The most important being the EGR and Fuel regulator vacuum lines...

    Completed the 5 lug switch!!

Yeah, but he's not running any SN-95-specific brake parts on there, just Lincoln rotors and Ranger axles, so he's still using stock brakes. So, in his case, there is definitely no need for a different MC.

    Anyone know where I can find a . . . . .

Word. So does Jegs. Do these $260-$300 kits come with a battery or something?

    'B' Spring Install?

Look at the pic in my gallery next to the red hatch. That's when my car had the Eibachs on it. There is no noticable difference in ride height.
