    Deposit, is it refundable

    I originally put 500 down on a black 05 GT but when I saw the Silver which was my first choice at a different dealer I got that one. The original dealer refunded the 500 without a problem and sold that black 05 on the same day :D

    Yes I would say you are crazy for doing that :D I personally would have tried to keep it and get the 05. You couldnt have picked a better car to trade it in for though. The 2005 Mustang is the best looking car on the road today... period. Hope you get the color you like and best wishes to...

    Ive had several incidents like this so far ( meaning where people follow my car to get a good look at it ... I havent raced anyone on the street ). They will follow you to your destination just to get a good look at it. Most folks have only seen the new Stang in magazines.

    It bad enough that they had to tear apart everyting under the hood. You should be demanding a new engine and if they refuse on that then you want a refund or trade for another new car. If they offer anything less then that get a lawyer. Any judge or person with comon sense would rule in your favor.

    For a young man in NY insurance can get very expensive. Especialy if your in or near NYC or any of the 5 boroughs.

    I have them and am spending 1,100 a year for insurance in NY :D I have friends that have older Stangs and are paying close to 5k.

    Don't get me wrong. I think the GTO is a great car :nice: Its just a little too pricey and bland looking for my tastes. Other than that I think its an awesome performer and I am glad the automakers have started making cars that can fit into the muscle category once again :D
