According to Crutchfield the rear deck speakers are bass only.

I was thinking of doing this myself. Can you tell a big difference? Crutchfield says The factory speakers are subwoofers and receive only bass frequencies from the amplifier. If replaced with aftermarket speakers, the aftermarket speakers will only reproduce bass. So I was just wondering is...

My local dealer wouldn't let me use the X plan either. They also told me maybe in 6 months. I did get it at MSRP.

I have the 500, it sounds good for a factory system. I'm pleased with it.

Rambo, I can relate. I just got mine yesterday. People have actually followed me just to see it. We stopped to get a bite to eat tonight, saw a older mustang pull up beside it and backed out and left. He just pulled it to take a look. Everywhere we go people are turning there heads.
