    When my car wouldn't start last Summer, I traced it to the ECU not sending a Ground signal to the Relay. During the EEC rebuild process they sent me an email stating that it had an extremely rare failure and didn't even keep the part in stock, guess it was that transistor.

    I put a 180-degree Stat and an Edelbrock Water Pump on my car in 1999, still functions great today.

    Possibly the push-rod is not adjusted to the correct length and maybe not pushing all the way into the MC.

    You might be able to use an overflow tank from a 1994 or 1995, if memory serves me it was similar in size to the Fox but mounted more towards the passenger side.

    Just to finish this Thread up, got the ECU back this morning. The fuel pump energized immediately upon turning the key so knew everything was good to go, car runs great again!

    Mine has been getting rebuilt at ECU Exchange, just got the report and tracking number for its return earlier today, it had a lengthy list of failed components needing replaced according to them.

    Looks like it fell down and was resting on the headers, there should be a couple clips that holds it in place over the coil.

    I replaced the water pump about 25 years ago on mine, went with an Edelbrock and its still going strong.

    I have had an MSD Coil on my car, it definitely makes a chirping noise that l can hear in the interior, if it makes you feel any better its been on my car for at least 20 years.

    Fox Brake booster keeps failing.

    I know its grasping at straws, but did you check the vacuum tree to make sure it is free of any cracks?
