    How big a tire on a 17X8

    in this months 5.0 mag there is a guy running 274/40/17 Nittos on a 17X8 wheel. I want the same size BFG but the specs for it are a 9-11 inch wheel. So anybody have experience with this large a tire on an 8 inch rim? Thanks in advance guys. Peace.

    i need a nice functional hood

    I hate to open a dead thread however I am curious, what happens when it rains? Do you pull the water into your inlet tract? I'm interested in a ram air hood but my vert is a daily driver and WILL see rain unfortunately. Thanks - Peace all.

    so I'm curious how much coolant did you send throught the motor? When you pulled the plugs did any coolant come out? Coolant and spark plugs don't get along well, I found that out personally the hard way, keep me posted - Peace

    Need help car wont start, possibly fuel pump

    The inertia switch (fuel pump shutoff) is just to the left of the hatch latch under the plasic trim. Take off the trim and you will see the switch. :) :spot:

    Well cleaning the 10 pins didn't help, but it didnt hurt either. I put my timing light on it and I notice its bouncing a bit... with the lope, when i throttle it up it advances and holds steady. Why would the timing bounce at idle? I've searched for vac leaks but have found none, doesnt mean...

    1.7 rockers make motor sound "cammed"?

    thanks for the quick reply. I know I have a stock cam. I'm just curious if the rockers contributed to the way it sounds or if I have a potential problem. I'll figure it out, or blow it up either way its a blast to drive.
