C&L Street Cold Air Intake CAI & Plenum covers (2)

I recently sold my 2009 GT. Before I sold it, however, I removed all the goodies. All of the aftermarket parts have around 4K miles on them and are essentially in new condition except for some typical road grime. The C&L intake kit sells for about $349 The plenum covers sell for about $89 Make...

    Late 2010 Mustang 6.2L??

Although I like the idea of a 5.0L 4V providing the 400HP this car needs (for showroom brochure racing against its competitors), it doesn't much matter to me which motor Ford uses to get there. My point, however, is that it seems more cost-effective to utilize an engine they already have...

    Late 2010 Mustang 6.2L??

On the Speed Channel 2010 Mustang reveal show it was mentioned that there would be another "surprise" coming to the 2010 Mustang that would be announced after the first of the year. Could it be that the fabled 6.2L Hurricane/Boss will be an optional engine, or part of another hi-po package...

Short belt to bypass power steering

I'm not sure if the belt routing would work out that way. The way I set mine up, the tensioner pulley holds the belt similar to the stock setup. The A/C (when not turned on) offers very little drag anyway - similar to an idler pulley. Good point though. Maybe one of us can be even...

Short belt to bypass power steering

Kevanp, I'm glad it worked out! I forgot to mention, if you unbolt the coolant reservoir from the top of the radiator (2 10mm bolts), you can lay it on the driver's side of the engine compartment (leaving the hoses attached). This only takes a minute to do, but allows much easier access to...

    steeda sport springs

I did the Steeda Sport Springs on my 07 GT (albeit no a CS) without changing the stock dampers. I have never scraped or bottomed out anywhere, even with my 20" wheels. Those springs offer a good balance of ride height and comfort IMHO. I hope that helps.

Short belt to bypass power steering

Here is a crude Paint picture of the belt routing. The red line depicts where the short belt differs from the stock routing.

Short belt to bypass power steering

Well, there you go: 4.5 HP for $16.99! Compared to so many other aftermarket products, that's a pretty good dollar/HP ratio:nice: Thanks onebad95
