It's just off 27th Street about a 1/2-mile east of Bridgeport/Jackson (whatever it's called at that point).

Any other Carb'ed 2.3's out there?

 Hello? Is this thing even on?.....

HELPPPPPPPP can't get it out of park

Good to hear it was something simple! Sometimes its best to go back to the basics before replacing the tranny (only to find out that it was only a fuse!!!!).

Should i drive in drive or overdrive?!

Leave it in OD. It won't drop into OD until you reach a high enough speed anyway. It will lower your RPM and reduce wear on the engine. If it shifts in and out a lot you can drop her into 'D' if you want - but it's just performing the way it's designed to. I only wish my 'pre-OD' car had...

    DOOR DINGING MOFO

I prefer the old squirt gun full of brake fluid - more coverage - same feeling of satisfaction! :bang:

    Is this a good price?

That certainly seems reasonable to me. You might want to include a word or two about the condition of the body/paint, interior, wheels/tires and such...

    I hate to say it...

My signature says it all.... Too bad you're going over to the other side.

Any other Carb'ed 2.3's out there?

If I recall - a carburetor is nothing more than a cylindrical object that sits atop an engine through which we humans pour a golden elixir (in vast quantities!) hoping that it will make the animal beneath it purr nicely. Maybe I haven't found the right flavor elixir 'cause all my animal seems...

Any other Carb'ed 2.3's out there?

If they're more responsive to kickin'n'kussin - it ought to be running really good now. LOL! Seems my hunch was right about there not being anyone else...

Any other Carb'ed 2.3's out there?

Am I the only one with a carb'ed 2.3L? I don't see any others enjoying the wonders of non-EFI 4-cylinders? You out there?

    O MAN

You think yours is slow? Mine is a carb'ed 2.3L N/A with an auto and over 185,000 miles on it. It's so slow that its own shadow flashed its lights at it! :p One thing you could do when people challenge you with a car you know you don't stand a chance against is to sit there and smile at...

Hell - Monroe isn't that far. Come on down. Think of it this way - your motor will be nice and warmed up for the dyno!

Dyno Day in South Sound (Tacoma)

:p Make that two of us... I'll also be willing to bet that the old guys usually win for the following reasons: - more experience - more time to have built it out the right way - more $$$$ and the most important reason... - old age and treachery will overcome youth and beauty -...

Dyno Day in South Sound (Tacoma)

They generally start gathering around 7:30-8:00. I had to laugh at your second question - does it really matter? They're all Mustang fans... (and some aren't even male - don't think so narrowly!)

Dyno Day in South Sound (Tacoma)

The reason traction might be an issue is because the Mustang dyno puts a load against the drive wheels (versus the Jet dyno being an inertia type). I thought there was something wrong with my truck because it took so damned long to wind it up on the Mustang dyno. Then they explained it to...

Dyno Day in South Sound (Tacoma)

I used to set up Dyno Days (that some of you attended last year) with Mustang Life and Ford Truck World. They were done at Turbo Tech. The prices quoted above are basically the same price that we paid TT 5 years ago - and you'll get more real-world numbers on the Mustang dyno.
