    The v6 with the performance pack is what I've become interested in, but to hear that it costs close to 30 grand is disheartening. I wonder if there's any way of getting an almost no-option Mustang with the performance package being the only plus, maybe it wouldn't be so high?

    If the gas mileage IS better, then it sure seems like the stock would rise in the V6's! That would make them so much more appealing, since at the moment, taking a V6 instead of the GT doesn't really seem to help much in that department. I know it would make 'me' think twice anyway! :D
