Mine makes a racket under the hood with the A/C on. 4700 miles. Going in tomorrow morning to check it out. Sometimes the car vibrates at idle with it on - like shakes the whole car. It still makes cold air at this point.

Not to discount other responses, but my bell housing noise was due to 2 missing bolts on the bottom of the the housing. The missing bolts helped secure the cover, and it made a metallic rattling noise that went away with throttle. I don't recall the bolt size.

I have an xcal 2 and I think the speedo is reading fast over 50 mph. I did the end user adjustment to ensure the gear ratio is correct; what I don't know is the revolutions per mile for the stock tires. i was expecting to be able to just set the tire size. Anyone know what the of revs/mile for...

3800 miles and my dash rattles like it's got 100K on it. Rattles all along the top of the dash as well as the driver's door and behind the headlight switch. Going to dealer, but i think I'll end up doing this myself.

New tank works. No problems filling now. New tank includes a better vent system methinks

I have this problem as well. First service I am taking the shop foreman out for a ride, as you can only hear it under mild accleration with very little throttle. I have managed to maintain the noise for about 15 secs, and it sounds like a slapping metallic noise. Only at 2800-2900 RPM. I'll post...

Dude, the T-5 is a manual tranny. I think Nolyaw was tryning to establish that ATF has been being used in manual tranny's (Tremec's anyway) for a while. :rolleyes:

I read this quote to mean that the AMSOIL will not harm the focus tranny. I wouldn't put the AMSOIL in the 3650 based on that quote.

Bone stock 5 speed - 19 mpg. All city driving. Pleasantly surprised thus far. I have 1500 miles in 3 months.

Be very careful with overwattage bulbs. My '97 Audi reflectors melted with overwattage lamps. (10 watts over) Also, stock wiring is usually barely adequate to handle standard wattage bulbs. Additionally, many of the "xenon look" headlights have a coating on the bulb that actually decreases light...

My dealer agreed to install the Eibachs on the front at no charge, I will have to pay for the rears and the alignment. :D

Mine goes in tomorrow for an "inspection", then they will order parts. My dealer tells me TSB work is always a 2 visit deal. I'm going to see if they'll install my pro-kit since the springs are going to be off anyway, and pay him for the rears and an alignment.

I ran a tank of super and noticed no difference. Will stick with 87 until tuned.

Methinks $1200 would go a lot farther in aftermarket for sound system upgrades. Seems like a lot of cash for 2 trunk subs.

I ordered my GT yesterday, had to pay MSRP. Dealer here was marking up like 5K. Got a Torch Red Premium with IUP, & alarm system.
