Anyone have dyno sheets of built and centri blown gt's???

to add to that before the "its the power under the curve" nazis come in, in a race situation that car will not be below 4K rpms.

    Synthetic OIL

ok, just for you resident oil expert. it appears that many are using a synthetic and still changing their oil on a regular basis. imo it is a waste of money to do so. If you change every 3K or less just use a mineral oil.

Are Hawk brake pads really that much better?

I prefer wagner thermo quiets. The motorcraft will work well too. don't get the Hawk pads imo.

    Help me with BLOWER parts!!!!

it sounds like money is a concern at this point, so why don't you stay with the stocker? they flow well, are light, and you already have one. I've seen plenty of cars at your wanted power level with the stocker. I would be patient and just do the intake a little later once you get the majority...

    Help me with BLOWER parts!!!!

it asks for intake because some intakes relocate the alternator causing slight modifications to the kit. I'm not sure about the P-51 intake though. why are you getting that? as far as the pulley size, most people do the 2.9. 8 rib kits are usually designed for the smaller pulley sizes since...

    Help me with BLOWER parts!!!!

yes. that is the point of an 8-rip kit. also, it was mentioned that you shouldn't get the 8-rib kit up front, but i disagree on this. For the power levels you want to achieve now and later, it won't hurt. you also stated that you are having someone install it and tune it. if that is true...

    Help me with BLOWER parts!!!!

you can find a used Lightning MAF and add a MAFx to it for your power levels. 55 or 60 injectors will work. If you have the cash up front, just do the 8-rib conversion. Some will say that you can put your own kit together for much cheaper than teh GI-JOE kit, but when I attempted, it wasn't much...

    01 GT,Auto..Gear ?(sorry)

it can be a safer choice for unforseen mods later on. some people don't like switching tires at the track with 4.10s when they put on a blower, and 4.10s are just a smoke show with a positive displacement blower also. many also initially like 4.10s and then dislike once they have owned the car...

    01 GT,Auto..Gear ?(sorry)

not with tall enough tires. anyhow, 3.73's are the safest bet for someone not sure. it will improve performance hands down and it is a great all around gear. by the way, i have a blower and 3.73's.

    Whats the "j-mod" for 4r70w?

A properly j-modded trans works great (personal knowledge). A new valvebody works great as well and offers other advantages as well. It depends on your goals. I chose the lentech unit third time around.

    01 GT,Auto..Gear ?(sorry)

you also need to decide on where you do the majority of your driving. since my car is my DD involving daily hwy use and long trips, i got the 3.73s. If i had another car I would go with 4.10's and 28inch tall slicks. the 3.90 is a good compromise, but it all depends on what you use your car for.

    01 GT,Auto..Gear ?(sorry)

4.10's in an auto aren't that bad. I have 3.73's in my auto and like them.

    Whats the "j-mod" for 4r70w?

have you owned lentech products and used them, or are you just making a comment? I've seen failed transmission due to improper J-mod modifications.

    Whats the "j-mod" for 4r70w?

My lentech unit works well. They build it to your specs and don't just pull something off the shelf like others do. I am happy with my unit. Been running it for almost a year now.
