    How much power can a stock 4.6 bottom end handle?

    I'm just curious. I heard anything over 9psi was dangerous. That makes about 380-390hp at the wheels. If you add the 15%-20% parasitic loss then anything over around 430-450hp will break these things? Are the pistons/rods/crank any good in these motors?

    alright, well I went out and tried the 4th/5th gear thing. it seemed fine (the clutch) So i guess i'll jack up the car and try that posi test. I'll let you know how it works out. iboost5o

    Does anyone know why ford put hoses from the hot water heater lines into the throttle body? I have a friend who took his off and the throttle/intake is actually cooler. It was an obvious diffrence. Performance wise *shrug.* Anyways - i'm pretty curious about it :D . thanks, iboost5o :nice:
